Books about Therapeutic Imagery

In therapeutic imagery, we purposefully use imagination to influence the health of mind and body. The MBSR program includes elements of therapeutic imagery, especially the use of breath imagery which we first investigate during the Body Scan meditation.

The following bibliography is a list of books suggested to our patients who want to learn more about visualization and other types of therapeutic imagery. Each title is linked to Amazon to provide you with more information. (Please note that Meditation for Health receives a small incentive payment from Amazon if you complete a purchase through these links. We donate this payment to the World Wildlife Fund and The Sierra Club of Canada.)
